Description

The synthesis and release of catecholamines epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine are triggered by various but distinct conditions and stresses. Dopamine (DA) acts a neurotransmitter and neuromodulator in the brain and peripherally, as an autocrine/paracrine hormone.
