DCP1-DCP2 complex

The core of the DCP1-DCP2 complex is composed of Dcp2 decapping enzyme and its main activator Dcp1b. Additional factors are present in the complex. For more details check PMIDs  24352420 and 23287066. Selected genes are listed with aliases in parentheses, full names and links to gene report pages:

Dcp2 – decapping mRNA 2
Dcp1b (DCP1) – decapping mRNA 1B
Ddx6 (RCK) – DEAD-box helicase 6
Edc3 (LSM16, YJDC) – enhancer of mRNA decapping 3
Edc4 (GE1, HEDL5, HEDLS) – enhancer of mRNA decapping 4
Patl1 (Pat1b, PAT1-like protein 1) – PAT1 homolog 1, processing body mRNA decay factor

Other possible activators include Lsm14a and Lsm1Lsm7.
