Atg12 conjugation system

Atg12 is activated by Atg7 (E1-like) and then conjugated to Atg5 by Atg10 (E2-like). The complex is stabilized by Atg16 proteins. The Atg12-Atg5-Atg16 complex is important for the formation of the second, LC3 conjugation system. The members of the Atg12 complex are listed with aliases in parentheses, full name and link to gene report pages:
