RGD ID: 621476
Species: Rattus norvegicus
RGD Object: Gene
Symbol: Kcnn4
Name: potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily N member 4
Acc ID: GO:0046541
Term: saliva secretion
Definition: The regulated release of saliva from the salivary glands. In man, the saliva is a turbid and slightly viscous fluid, generally of an alkaline reaction, and is secreted by the parotid, submaxillary, and sublingual glands.
