A series of oligoglycosylceramides having beta-D-galactosyl-(1-3)-N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminyl-(1-3)-beta-D-galactosyl-(1-4)-beta-D-glucose as the tetrasaccharide sequence root. The oligosaccharide portion can be elongated in a linear or branched form.
