Rpa complex

Replication protein A (Rpa) is a heterotrimeric single-stranded DNA binding protein complex involved in DNA replication, repair and recombination. The three subunits of 70, 32 and 14 kDa are conserved among eukaryotes. Humans carry two homologs of the middle subunit. The genes encoding the subunits are listed with aliases in parentheses, full names and links to gene report pages:

Rpa1 (Repa1, Rep70) – replication protein A1
Rpa2
 (Repa2, Rep32) – replication protein A2
Rpa3
 (Repa3) – replication protein A3
RPA4 – replication protein A4 (human gene)
