The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. Definition:The weight after removal from the body but without desiccation of the liver, the large abdominal organ/gland which functions in the storage and filtration of blood, secretion of bile, detoxification of noxious substances, synthesis and storage of glycogen, synthesis and breakdown of fats and temporary storage of fatty acids, and synthesis of serum proteins.
