activated Akt members

Upon phosphorylation of a threonine and a serine residue, the activated members of Akt translocate to the cytoplasm or the nucleus to phosphorylate more than 70 identified substrates. The three Akt members are listed with symbols, aliases in parentheses, full names and links to gene report pages:

Akt1 (Pkb, Pkb-alpha, Prkba, Akt, Pkb) – AKT serine/threonine kinase 1
Akt2 (Prkbb, Pkbb) – AKT serine/threonine kinase 2
Akt3 (Pkbg, Prkbg) – AKT serine/threonine kinase 3
