Definition:A procedure or technique based on the action of one or more enzymes, proteins that catalyze chemical reactions of other substances without themselves being destroyed or altered upon completion of the reaction(s), used to assess triglyceride, a neutral fat compound that consists of three molecules of fatty acids bound with one molecule of glycerol and that is the usual storage form of lipids in animals.
