CLINICAL MEASUREMENT - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. For more information about these vocabularies please see Shimoyama et al. Three ontologies to define phenotype measurement data. Front Genet. 2012;3:87. Definition:This measurement is the apparent volume in brain occupied by verapamil at a specified time point after injection of verapamil into the carotid artery. It is the ratio of the verapamil concentration in brain to verapamil concentration in plasma at a given time and roughly equivalent to the extracellular space of the brain.
Synonyms:exact_synonym: brain Vi of verapamil
related_synonym: Vd in brain;   Volume of Distribution in brain
