Definition:A non-competitive inhibitor of the sarco / endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase (SERCA) class of enzymes. Acts as a non-phorbol-ester-type tumor promoter and acts as an inhibitor of calcium ATPase of endoplasmic reticulum, leading to an increase in cytoplasmic calcium ions.
