RGD is pleased to announce the release of the comparative species page for Domestic Dog, Canis lupus familiaris. The Domestic Dog has served the research community as a foundational comparative model for many diseases including: cancers, cardiovascular disease, neurological diseases, autoimmune diseases, deafness and blindness. RGD’s comparative species page provides an easy gateway for dog specific exploration of genomic and phenotypic resources, including 215 unique variant profiles representing 90 dog breeds, and cross species links to comparative information. The page also provides a quick launch point to RGD’s suite of visualization and analysis tools, links to dog specific literature, and external resources.
