GENETICS: special issue featuring Model Organism Database updates

GENETICS April 2022 Volume 220 Issue 4 The most recent GENETICS special issue features updates from established Model Organism Databases (MODs) using a new article type called “Knowledgebase and Database Resources.” Expertly curated data are critical to the efficient and successful utilization of model species as research tools. This journal issue includes an editorial about making biological knowledge useful for humans and machines, a Perspective on nematode nomenclature, and eight knowledgebase articles describing advances in model organism projects. RGD is pleased to report that one of the included papers is from our group, and another is an update about the Alliance of Genome Resources, of which RGD is a founding member.
