Now is your chance! RGD is accepting photos and other content for the 2019 RGD Calendar! As always, we need your cute/fun/charming, high resolution photos of rats as well as digital images of other types of rat-centric artwork such as drawings, paintings and cartoons of rats which you have drawn/painted. You’re a writer, not a painter? How about submitting poems, sayings or other text which you have written that you would like to see included in the calendar? RGD is also accepting photos of other animals we currently house data for, including dog, chinchilla, 13-lined squirrel, and bonobo.
As you might expect, we are all about the strain data and giving credit where credit is due, so when sending photos of your favorite strains, don’t forget to include information such as strain symbol and name, developer of the strain and any associated citations or references. We also like to include a link to an applicable website so if your lab has a web page, please also include the URL in your submission. Please send high quality digital images and other submissions to us at RGD.Community@mcw.edu by Wednesday, October 17th. That’s only two weeks from now so don’t delay! Also, as our “Thank You!” to the rat research community for your ongoing support we will mail calendars to you free of charge. If you would like hard copies of the 2019 Rat Calendar, please send an email with your name, shipping address and how many calendars you would like to the email address above (or use the “Contact Us” link at the top of any RGD page). We would be happy to send calendars to anyone outside the Milwaukee area who requests them. We look forward to hearing from you! -The RGD Team |
