Symbol: SD-Trpm4em1Sage
Strain: SD-Trpm4em1
Substrain: Sage
RGD ID: 150521556
Citation ID: RRID:RGD_150521556
Ontology ID: N/A
Type: mutant
Source: Laboratory of Biological Psychology, Brain and Cognition, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Tiensestraat 102, 3000 Leuven, Belgium
Origin: Trpm4 gene specific Zinc finger constructs directed against exons 18-19, which contain the coding sequence for TM3-5 and the pore region of the TRPM4 protein, were injected in zygotes from Sprague-Dawley rats. This mutant rat with a 514 bp deletion which includes completely removes exon 18 and a piece of exon 19 from the Trpm4 gene, plus the intron 18-19. The deletion was confirmed via genomic sequencing and western blotting.
Genetic Status: Homozygous
Last Known Status: Unknown
