Definition:This is any condition in which the main influencing factor is controlled atmospheric pressure, which involves controlling volume of the air, temperature of the air, and humidity of the air breathed. Controlled atmospheric pressure may be achieved by the use of a hypobaric or hyperbaric chamber.
