MEASUREMENT METHODS - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. Definition:A type of atomic spectroscopy in which the light emitted by atoms and ions in an inductively coupled plasma is observed. An inductively coupled plasma (ICP) is a type of plasma source in which the energy is supplied by electrical currents which are produced by electromagnetic induction, that is, by time-varying magnetic fields.
Synonyms:exact_synonym: inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy;   inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry
 related_synonym: ICP-AES;   ICP-OES
