Definition:A type of crying in an abnormally high-pitched voice.
Comment:This type of cry may be observed with cerebral irritability due to factors such as meningitis, hydrocephalus, or kernicterus. High-pitched cry may also be observed with other conditions including Cornelia-de-Lange syndrome.
