Comment:
This term was obsoleted because there is no evidence that telomeric RNA is specifically transcribed, but it may be a result of cryptic transcription. Biological processes exist to maintain telomeric DNA is a repressed state (subtelomeric heterochromatin formation ; GO:0031509).
