Definition:OBSOLETE. Binding to a neurotransmitter, any chemical substance that is capable of transmitting (or inhibiting the transmission of) a nerve impulse from a neuron to another cell.
Comment:The reason for obsoletion is that 'neurotransmitter' is unnecessary grouping in the metabolism branch of the ontology, and it creates true path violations.
