go back to main search page
Accession:GO:0010977 term browser browse the term
Definition:Any process that decreases the rate, frequency or extent of neuron projection development. Neuron projection development is the process whose specific outcome is the progression of a neuron projection over time, from its formation to the mature structure. A neuron projection is any process extending from a neural cell, such as axons or dendrites (collectively called neurites).
Synonyms:narrow_synonym: negative regulation of neurite biosynthesis;   negative regulation of neurite development;   negative regulation of neurite formation;   negative regulation of neurite growth
 related_synonym: growth cone collapse
