CLINICAL MEASUREMENT - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. For more information about these vocabularies please see Shimoyama et al. Three ontologies to define phenotype measurement data. Front Genet. 2012;3:87. Definition:This measurement defines the capacity of a porous material to transmit fluids. Darcy's law is an equation that describes the flow of a fluid through a porous medium. The calculation in biological systems relies on a pressure gradient, the thickness of the material through which the fluid is proceeding, and the dynamic viscosity of the filtration solution.
Synonyms:narrow_synonym: Darcy permeability of GBM layers
