CLINICAL MEASUREMENT - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. For more information about these vocabularies please see Shimoyama et al. Three ontologies to define phenotype measurement data. Front Genet. 2012;3:87. Term:b-wave amplitude of ERG waveform

Accession:CMO:0003656 term browser browse the term
Definition:The b-wave is positive and usually larger in amplitude than the a-wave of the ERG waveform, generated by the retina in response to light. The amplitude of the b-wave is measured from the trough of the a-wave to the following peak of the b-wave. The b-wave reflects the health of the inner layers of the retina, including the ON bipolar cells and the Muller cells.
