Definition:A calculated measurement in which the number of splenocytes expressing CD45RA molecules (PTPRC) on their surface in a specified sample of spleen tissue is divided by the number of total splenocytes in the same sample, and presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage. The CD45RA molecule is the long isoform of CD45 and is expressed on naive T lymphocytes.
