Any value resulting from the quantification of a morphological or physiological parameter of the complex network of capillaries, thin vessels, valves, ducts, nodes, and organs that produces various blood cells and helps protect and maintain the internal fluid environment of the entire body by producing, filtering, and conveying lymph, a thin watery fluid that is collected from the organs and tissues, and that serves to remove bacteria and certain proteins from the tissues, transport fat from the small intestine, and supply mature lymphocytes to the blood.
