CLINICAL MEASUREMENT - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. For more information about these vocabularies please see Shimoyama et al. Three ontologies to define phenotype measurement data. Front Genet. 2012;3:87. Definition:A calculated measurement of left ventricular geometry. It is calculated by dividing the end-diastolic diameter into 2x the posterior wall thickness or into the sum of the posterior and septal wall thicknesses. It represents a measure of the wall thickness normalized to the size of the ventricle lumen.
Synonyms:exact_synonym: RWT;   heart left ventricle end-diastolic relative wall thickness
