A diastereoisomeric mixture containing 80-100% of (S,S)-cyclobutrifluram and 0-20% of (R,R)-cyclobutrifluram. It is a nematicide developed by Syngenta Crop Protection AG and used for the control of both nematodes and soil-borne diseases, especially Fusarium species. It is presumed to be an inhibitor of the mitochondrial electron transport chain complex II based on its chemical structure similarity to fluopyram.
Formula=C17H13Cl2F3N2O; Tymirium; cyclobutriflurame; mixture comprised of 80-100% N-[(1S,2S)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)cyclobutyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)nicotinamide and 20-0% of the (1R,2R)-enantiomer; mixture comprised of 80-100% N-[(1S,2S)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)cyclobutyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine-3-carboxamide and 20-0% of the (1R,2R)-enantiomer; rel-N-[(1R,2R)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)cyclobutyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pyridinecarboxamide
