06/15/2015 - RGD releases an updated pathway suite network for gene expression and regulation

Gene Expression and Regulation Pathway Suite Network

The expression of eukaryotic genes is dependent upon the activity of three polymerases and accompanying processes and is directly affected by epigenetic chromatin remodeling and modification changes. Intimately connected are the maturation of pre-transcripts and export events and the surveillance systems of quality control. Finally, ribosome biogenesis and tRNA aminoacylation will coalesce into translation – the apex of protein-coding gene expression. Ribosome biogenesis and translation pathways have been added to the pathway suite network. Click here to explore the three interconnected pathway suites, the components they contain including those newly added, of this important domain of cell biology pathway networks.
