Transducin complex

Transducin, the heterotrimeric G protein specific for the G-protein coupled photoreceptors, is composed of the rod- and cone-specific alpha (also shown individually on the diagram) and gamma subunits and a beta subunit. The members of the transducin complex are listed with aliases in parentheses, full names and links to gene report pages:

Gnat1 (GBT1, GNATR) – G protein subunit alpha transducin 1
Gnat2 (ACHM4, GNATC) – G protein subunit alpha transducin 2
Gnb1 – G protein subunit beta 1
Gngt1 (GNG1) – G protein subunit gamma transducin 1
Gngt2 – G protein subunit gamma transducin 2
