Pathways

potential NSCLC miRNA

Article

microRNAs regulate gene expression primarily by inhibiting the mRNA translation of target genes. The expression of many miRNAs has been shown to be deregulated in cancer and to play a role in cancer progression. With respect to lung cancer in general and non-small cell lung cancer in particular, deregulated expression of miRNA is being used as an early detection system.
