Isocitrate dehydrogenase complex

The isocitrate dehydrogenase complex that catalyzes one of the rate-limiting steps of the cycle is formed by the NAD(+)-dependent alpha, beta and gamma subunits. The complex is a tetramer of two alpha subunits, one beta and one gamma subunit. The genes are are listed with aliases in parentheses, full names and links to gene report pages:

Idh3a – isocitrate dehydrogenase 3 (NAD+) alpha
Idh3B (Rp46) – isocitrate dehydrogenase 3 (NAD+) beta
Idh3g – isocitrate dehydrogenase 3 (NAD+) gamma
