Strain: LEW-Tg(EGFP)455Rrrc

Symbol: LEW-Tg(EGFP)455Rrrc
Strain: LEW-Tg(EGFP)455
Substrain: Rrrc
Full Name: Lewis- GFP transgenic
RGD ID: 6482290
Citation ID: RRID:RRRC_00062
Ontology ID: RS:0003235
Also Known As: LEW-Tg (EGFP) F455/Rrrc
Type: transgenic
Available Source: Rat Resource and Research Center
Origination: Rat Resource and Research Center
Description: This transgenic strain contains the enhanced green fluorescent protein gene under the control of the human ubiquitin-C promoter with a the woodchuck hepatitis virus posttranscriptional regulatory element (WRE). This transgenic strain was made by injecting the lentivirus vector containing the GFP construct (vector name FUGW) into Lewis rat embryos.
Coat Color: Albino
Last Known Status: Cryopreserved Embryo; Cryopreserved Sperm
