Description: This strain was produced by injecting ZFNs into Sprague-Dawley rat embryos. The resulting mutation is a 5-bp frameshift deletion in the Rag1 gene that predicts a protein with a normal sequence up to aa 245, followed by 5 aa from the insertions and mutations, followed by a stop codon in position 751.
