Strain: FHH-Chr 1BN-Dusp5em1Mcwi

Symbol: FHH-Chr 1BN-Dusp5em1Mcwi
Strain: FHH-Chr 1BN-Dusp5em1
Substrain: Mcwi
RGD ID: 13451538
Citation ID: RRID:RGD_13451538
Ontology ID: N/A
Alleles: Dusp5em1Mcwi
Also Known As: FHH-Chr 1BN-Dusp5em1Mcwi; FHH-Chr 1^[BN]-Dusp5^[em1Mcwi]
Type: mutant
Available Source: Not Available
Description: This strain was produced by injecting ZFNs targeting the following sequence CAGGGCAGCCGC-CACtggcaGAAGCTGCGGGAGGA in exon 1 of the rat Dusp5 gene into FHH-Chr 1BN/Mcwi embryos. The resulting mutation is a 14 bp deletion and a 3 bp insertion between nucleotides 449 and 464 in Dusp5 mRNA that creates a frame shift mutation which is predicted to introduce a premature stop codon at amino acid 121.
Last Known Status: Unknown
