Definition:The pathway of levorphanol-target interaction and of the biochemical or physiological responses to drug. The drug acts primarily as a mu-receptor agonist, but it can be an agonist or antagonist for several other receptors. Genetic variations can cause differences in the response of the organism to the drug.
