"Why do some forums show icon when others show ?" Those forums with icons are moderated forums. When you post your messages in these forums, they are not immediately posted. Instead, your messages are stored in a message queueing system until the administrator or the moderator approves them.

What is a lobby? What is a conference? What is a forum? What is a thread/topic? What is a subscription? What is an inbox? What is a bookmark? Why are there so many different types of forums? When I post a message in one forum, it posts ok. But in another forum, it won't post. Why? How do I register? How can I keep track of new messages? I want to use the private forums. How do I do that? How do I use HTML tags? How do I post images? How do I use HTML links? How do I use those smiley icons? Why do some file icons display flame? Why do some forums show icon when others show ? Why do some topics show icon when others show ? Why do some topics have [view all] next to the subject? What are those little icons next to the usernames in the messages?
